Procedure
- Collect vocabulary sentences
- Discuss highlights from chapter 31.
- Read chapters 32 and 33; discuss highlights.
- Write the definition for hyperbole
and have students write the definition in the “literary
terms” section of their binders. Provide
a few examples.
- Have students work in pairs to locate two examples
of their own.
