Concluding Assignment

The students demonstrate their understanding of the readings by generating relevant questions about the readings that evaluate the author’s argument or defense of a claim by critiquing the relationship between generalization and primary source evidence.

Suggested Components

  • The student is instructed to complete the chapter reading assignment at home (daily) and too complete the Template assignment as homework, if the reading assignment is not completed in class.
  • The student is encouraged to use the evidence discovered in the primary source (UDHR Quiz) template2.pdf for critiquing the relationship between his own generalizations and the Narrative of the Life Frederick Douglass.
  • The student is encouraged to obtain a Franklin Speller for quick access in determining the meaning of unknown words.
