Student Response A
I think Sula should be read in ninth grade and
above classes. This book can easily relate to
life and can teach lessons to immoral people.
This book will help to widen childrens vocabulary.
The book has many scenes that lead up to parts
in the story. The sexuality in the book is no
more than a few sentences and it all has a point.
Sula can teach children that messing around with
married people is immoral and it is liable to
happen to you. This book is also saying if you
use people, then you are able to get used yourself.
This book teaches "what goes around comes
around" and that is what many children need
to learn. In general this book needs to be read
because it not only teaches lessons about being
immoral but also lessons about life.
